Identified
Summary
Due to a planned outage of the MMS trading portal, the SVR module and the SmartCharge Engine (SCE) battery module are currently not operational.
Impact
- SVR module: activation offers cannot be created or modified, including via the Activation Offer Planner. - SCE: the module has been globally disabled for the duration of the outage. Battery optimization and control via SCE are not running.
Root cause
Initial investigation confirmed that the issue is caused by the planned outage of the MMS trading portal. This is an external dependency, and SmartCube cannot communicate with MMS while it is unavailable.
Actions taken
- Identified the MMS trading portal outage as the root cause. - Globally disabled the SCE module to prevent unintended battery operation without a working MMS connection.
Next steps
- Monitor MMS availability. - Once MMS is back online, verify connectivity, re-enable SCE and confirm that activation offers can be edited again, both directly and via the Activation Offer Planner. - Check that no offers or schedules are left in an inconsistent state after the outage.
